What you'll do as a Business Development Specialist:
Market Expertise & Strategy:
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of Eight Oh Two's service offerings and how they address client needs.
- Partner with the Chief Growth Officer to develop and execute strategic business development initiatives aligned with Eight Oh Two's overall goals.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients, industries, and trends, utilizing data to make informed decisions.
Lead Generation & Qualification:
- Be industrious and actively generate qualified leads through various channels, including cold calling, networking, online research, and industry events.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of potential clients.
Client Relationship Building & Development:
- Cultivate relationships with potential clients, fostering trust and understanding of Eight Oh Two's unique offerings.
- Help create compelling sales materials to resonate with prospects and set meetings.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop winning proposals that convert leads into clients.
Business Development Operations & Growth:
- Track and report on business development activities, including progress, challenges, and opportunities.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to build networks and identify new business opportunities.
Professional Development:
- Continuously develop your knowledge and skills through industry training and resources.
Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- 2+ years of experience in business development, with a focus in SEM/SEO sales (ideal).
- Strong understanding of marketing and advertising industry best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and navigate complex conversations.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
